Ingredients:
2/3 cup Lavender Sugar 1 cup Butter, room temperature
1 tsp. Vanilla Extract
1/4 tsp. Lemon Extract
2 cups All-Purpose Flour
1/8 tsp.Salt
In a food processor, grind lavender buds and sugar into fine powder. In a mixing bowl, cream together lavender/sugar mixture, butter, vanilla extract and lemon extract. Add flour and salt; mix until combined. (Dough shoudl be soft but not sticky) Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours or until dough is firm.
Preheat oven to 325 F. On a lightly floured surface, roll dough approximately 1/4-inch thick. Cut into desired shapes and place onto ungreesed cookie sheets. Bake 12-15 minutes or until cookies are lightly browned around the edges. Cool on wire rakes. Frosting is optional.
